4 Simple Steps To Fill Your Eyebrows

Fuller eyebrows signify youth. It is no surprise then why all of us long for thicker and fuller brows. But when it comes to make the eyes look fuller by filling in the eyebrows, you need to be very careful as a small mistake can ruin your efforts completely. Don’t worry! Filling in eyebrow is not a Herculean task! Lol.
Basically, the job is divided into two segments
  • 1. Shaping up the eyebrows
  • 2. Filling in the eyebrows
Let us guide you through the stepwise methods for accomplishing both of these tasks:

First Segment- Shaping Up The Eyebrows

Here is how you can shape your brows perfectly:

1. Determine The Starting Points:

It is important to figure out the initial points before you start filling in your brows. Gauge both of your inner brows first. You need a brush or a regular brow pencil for this. Hold it up in such a manner that one of its ends falls in line with the edge of that side of your nostril. The other end of the pencil should be in line with the inner corner of your eyes of that side. The point, where the pencil or the extended part of the brush meets your brow line, is the starting point for you.

2. Determine The Ending Points:

Similarly, you need to figure out the best finishing points beforehand too. For this, move the upper end of the pencil or brush from the inner corner of the eye to the outer corner by keeping the lower end lined up with the edge of your nostril. The point, where the pencil or the extended part of the brush meets your brow line, is the ending point for you.
Note:In both the cases, if you find hair strands past the ‘line’ formed by the pencil or brush, you have to shave them off. If there is a gap between the ‘line’ and the actual starting / ending point of your eyebrow, you have to fill it in tactfully in order to get the best possible look.

3. Get Perfect Arches:

After that, find the natural arches in both of your eyebrows in the similar way. Keep the lower end of the pencil or brush lined up with the edge of your nostril as it was and move the upper part to the center of the eye. The point, where the pencil or the brush hits your brow line, is the natural arch of your brow.

4. Shape Them Up:

Finally, join all these 3 points you have determined on both of your eyebrows and give them an ideal shape. Make sure that no hair strand is present outside this shape.

Second Segment- Filling In The Eyebrows

1. Find The Best Filler:

Now, it is time to decide on the best filler for your eyebrows. You have 3 options to choose from – (1) Eyebrow Pencil, (2) Eyebrow Powder, and (3) Eyebrow Gel / Eyebrow Cream. If you want to add definition to your brows, pick a pencil or gel or cream, while using powder is always the best for achieving a subtle natural look.

2. Create Outlines:

Next, outline your eye brows with the brow pencil. Make sure that you follow the shape you have already created and the color of the pencil matches the natural color of your brows. Keep the outline very light and precise so that you get the best shape ever.

3. Fill Them In:

After that, take your filler and fill your brows in. Start with defining the bottom hairline by drawing soft lines flanking the lower outlines. Maintain the shape created by you in the first segment and fill the outlines slowly. It should give you a pair of beautiful and natural looking brows.

4. Brush Them Up:

At last, apply a clear eyebrow gel onto the hairs of your brows and brush through them by using a brow brush or spoolie brush. The color will be distributed throughout your brows uniformly.
And now take a look at yourself in the mirror. Blown away with your perfect, full, brows? It wasn’t that difficult, was it? So, start practicing and share with friends and family.
