Make your day-to-night beauty transition a breeze with these fresh tips.

Taking your look from day to night doesn’t have to be complicated — especially if you are a busy mom. Just keep the following tips in mind for the next time you want a look that’s perfect for both work and play.

1. Set Your Hair up for Success-If your hair holds a blowout well, this will certainly make transitioning simple. But for those who lack the time, talent or cooperative hair, make the styling easy and just leave it down all day and night. If you want to pull your hair back for daytime, braid it. At the end of the day, your braid will have created natural, loose waves. Once hair is out of the braid, spray a little Aussie Sprunch Hairspray onto hair and tousle it gently with your fingers to maintain waviness all night.

2. Choose Lasting Makeup-You don’t want to drag your makeup bag around all day, so choose your products wisely. Start with a long-wear foundation like COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation. Then put on a coat or two of waterproof mascara, like COVERGIRL Professional Remarkable Washable Waterproof Mascara. If you want a little more intensity at night, bring eyeliner with you and lightly line your top lids at the end of the day. Then add a pop of color to your night out with a bold shade of COVERGIRL Outlast All-Day Lipcolor.

3. Pick a Versatile Outfit-Don’t fuss with changing your entire look. For an all-day look, you may want to steer clear of whites, just in case, and avoid materials that easily wrinkle. Swap out a cardigan for a studded jacket at night. Want to break out the heels? Give your feet a break during the day and wear flats.

4. Keep a Few Items in Your Clutch-Have a few essential items in your clutch in case touchups are needed throughout the night. Oil-blotting sheets are great for both face and hair fixes. Carry a tube of mascara in case you feel your lashes need a little extra oomph. To give glow to your face, have a COVERGIRL Cheekers Blush handy.
